Team Switchgear is a full service electrical engineering firm that speicalizes in low voltage equipement design, commissioning and power system electrical and control system design. Our growing staff consists of engineers, electricians, technicians, drafters and designers.
Variable Air Volume Control System
- Piping and controls are factory installed, configured and tested
- LED display and manual controls for rapid diagnostics and service
- Variable speed technology adjusts fan speed to meet a space needs
- Low fan speeds results in quieter system
- Control algorithms reach set points faster allowing occupants to enjoy a more comfortable environment
Variable Air Volume (VAV) is a type of heating, ventilating, and/or air-conditioning (HVAC) system. The simplest VAV system incorporates one supply duct that, when in cooling mode, distributes approximately 55 °F (13 °C) supply air. Because the supply air temperature, in this simplest of VAV systems, is constant, the air flow rate must vary to meet the rising and falling heat gains or losses within the thermal zone served.
The VAV Zone Controller has a built-in actuator and maintains zone temperature by operating the terminal fan and regulating the flow of conditioned air into the space. Buildings with diverse loading conditions can be supported by controlling the local terminal’s supplemental heat. The VAV Zone Controller provides dedicated control functions for single duct, parallel fan box terminals and series fan box terminals with modulating heat, up to 2 stages of ducted heat, or combination baseboard and ducted heat.
Preliminary Analysis and Quoting
We at team make it a point of understanding the customers requirement as existing issues at the initial kickoff meet. We take it a step forward to improve and modify the system as the clients require it to be done.
Programming
Team Switchgear works with all major HMI, PLC and SCADA manufacturers world wide. We execute all our projects with utmost precision as well as compliance with the local and international standards and requirements.
Documentation
All projects executed by Team Switchgear come with it’s own documentation.
We do provide standard drawings and technical data sheets for the equipment supplied by Team.
Software Development and Hardware Programming
All our automation projects are start o{ by understanding how the clients require the system to function along with our engineers who have had worked on similar projects or undergone training from the automation manufacturers.
Panel Design and Manufacturing
We have undertaken E-Plan as our primary software for majority of our panel designs. The EPLAN Data Portal provides access to extensive device data and components, including assembly drawings, as it reduces human error and reduces manual updation.
Start Up and Shut Down
We also undertake start up and shut down jobs, we see to it that all safety precautions are carried out before powering up the system as well as we make sure it is e{ect and reduce the downtime for a maintenance job.
