SAIA Burgess PCD3.F121 serial communication interface module for the PCD3 controller series. Provides one RS-232 serial port (suitable for modem connections). Plugs into one of the communication slots (slots 0–3) on PCD3 I/O module positions. Supports Saia S-Bus, Modbus RTU/ASCII, and other serial protocols. Commonly used for: remote access via modem (analogue/ISDN/GSM), connection to serial printers, barcode readers, or third-party devices. Note: When used with more than 2 PCD3.Cxxx expansion cabinets, ensure CPLD version compatibility – refer to SBC FAQ on I/O module check. Max baud rate: 115.2 kBit/s. Sub-D 9-pin connector.
