Feeder Pillar Panels in UAE Outdoor LV Power Distribution, IP54/IP65
Feeder pillar panels provide protected, weatherproof low-voltage power distribution at outdoor locations streets, footpaths, parks, construction sites, marina facilities, and public infrastructure where a floor-mounted, self-standing distribution unit is required to feed sub-circuits without a conventional indoor switchroom. Team Switchgear and Control LLC manufactures custom feeder pillar panels from our Dubai facility, built to IEC 61439-1, with GRP or galvanised steel enclosures rated IP54 and IP65, suitable for the UAE’s extreme heat, dust, and humidity conditions.

What is the maximum rating for a feeder pillar panel?
Our standard feeder pillar range covers incoming ratings up to 630A (MCCB or fuse switch). For larger outdoor distribution requirements above 630A, we supply outdoor rated distribution kiosks or weatherproof LV switchboards in IP54/IP65 enclosures. The number of outgoing circuits is limited by the physical size of the enclosure standard pillars accommodate 8–16 outgoing MCB or MCCB ways. Custom configurations with more outgoing ways are available.
Can feeder pillars be supplied with EV charging provisions?
Yes. We supply feeder pillar panels with integrated EV charging distribution for car parks, residential communities, and public charging locations. The EV charging circuits include dedicated MCBs or RCBOs rated for Type 2 charger loads (up to 32A per point), with metering and a load management relay to prevent overloading the incoming supply. We design the EV distribution to comply with IEC 61851 and UAE Civil Defence requirements.
