VFD Panel Manufacturer in UAE Variable Frequency Drive Panels for Safe & Hazardous Areas
We at Team Switchgear Dubai assemble and supply all sorts of VFD VSD control panels which are used as a speed controllers of AC motors. These panels are widely used across various industries as they control the speed of the motor by controlling the frequency of the start up to decrease the load levied on the pump. In AC drives, frequency and voltage are changed in same proportion for smooth performance of ac motor.
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) panels deliver precise motor speed control, significant energy savings, and extended motor life making them the preferred solution for pump, fan, compressor, and conveyor applications where load variation is a process requirement or where energy efficiency is a project objective. Team Switchgear and Control LLC designs, assembles, and commissions custom VFD panels from our Dubai facility using drives from Siemens, ABB, Danfoss, and Schneider Electric for both safe area and hazardous area (Ex p) applications across UAE Oil & Gas, HVAC, Water Treatment, and Industrial sectors.
Drive Brands & Series We Integrate
- Siemens SINAMICS G120, G130, S120, G150 standard choice for Oil & Gas and process automation
- ABB ACS355, ACS580, ACS880 preferred on Aramco, PDO, and ADNOC-aligned specifications
- Danfoss FC102, FC202, FC302 widely used for HVAC, pump, and fan applications
- Schneider Electric Altivar ATV320, ATV630, ATV930 for Schneider-specification projects
- Rockwell Automation PowerFlex 523, 755 for Allen Bradley PLC system integration
Panel Types
Safe area VFD panels: Floor-standing or wall-mount VFD panels for non-classified locations. Single drive or multi-drive configurations, with MCB/contactor bypass, manual speed control, and Modbus or PROFINET communication to PLC/DCS.
Ex p VFD panels (Zone 1 / Zone 2): VFD housed within a BARTEC-certified Ex p pressurised enclosure with BARTEC purge controller, Type X purge (Zone 1) or Type Z purge (Zone 2). Allows standard commercial VFDs to operate safely in classified hazardous areas.
Soft starter panels: Where full variable speed is not required but soft starting is needed to reduce mechanical shock and inrush current. Siemens SIRIUS 3RW, Schneider Altistart, ABB PSR/PSS series.
We offer competitive pricing and provide various different types of VFD be it VFD with fan or without fan. Moreover, for smooth functioning of the panels, the voltage as well as the frequency is changed in same proportion.

Can you supply a VFD panel with a manual bypass for critical applications?
Yes. Manual bypass is a standard option on all our VFD panels for critical loads such as fire protection pumps, cooling water pumps, and critical HVAC systems. The bypass arrangement allows the motor to be run direct-on-line (DOL) at full speed in the event of a VFD fault, maintaining critical process continuity while the VFD is repaired. The bypass contactor is mechanically and electrically interlocked with the VFD output contactor to prevent simultaneous energisation.
How much energy can a VFD save on a pump or fan application?
The energy saving potential of a VFD is governed by the affinity laws for centrifugal pumps and fans, reducing speed by 20% reduces power consumption by approximately 49%. In UAE facilities where pumps and fans typically run at 70–80% of design flow for most of the year, VFDs regularly deliver 30–50% energy savings on individual motors. The payback period is typically 12–36 months depending on motor size, operating hours, and electricity tariff. We can provide a project-specific energy savings calculation as part of our pre-sales engineering review.
